Sebastian Vettel hailed his Red Bull RB6 as a 'pleasure to drive' after he romped to his seventh pole position of the season in Hungary.

Vettel set a quickest time of 1:18.773 to egde team-mate Mark Webber by 0.419s before praising his team for building him such 'wonderful car'.

"It was a very good day for us," said Vettel afterwards. "All weekend we have been very competitive and we were able to improve a bit more. I said over the radio to the boys 'this is your moment, you have built a wonderful car and it is a pleasure to drive'. I didn't have the smoothest run in Q2 with the options but I am happy again to be on pole."

Vettel added that although the circuit was not an easy one, the team is in a great position to hammer home its advantage on Sunday.

"The circuit suits us and it has traditionally not been easy to get right. You need to know the track and have the right car. There are no points for Saturday but we have done all we could have done and can be proud of ourselves today."
