Lewis Hamilton says he is "not enjoying the car at the moment" as he struggles with set-up ahead of the British Grand Prix.

Hamilton was fifth quickest in the only dry session on Friday, with his team-mate Nico Rosberg topping the times in FP2. Having been 0.6s slower than Rosberg, Hamilton said he wasn't comfortable with his car and that it affects his lap time heavily around such a high-speed circuit.

"[The car] doesn't seem to be too bad; the long run didn't feel very good but we've some set-up changes to make and we should be quite competitive," Hamilton said. "I'm not enjoying the car at the moment, I just don't have a very good balance. So when you can't hook up Becketts and Maggotts the rest of the track doesn't feel so good."

Hamilton said he hopes the change in track conditions on Saturday will help him find a way of getting the car more to his liking.

"I really don't feel comfortable with it … we'll try to analyse some data and figure out where we go next with the set-up. Obviously tomorrow is going to be a better day so hopefully we can get the car a little bit better for me so it feels a little but more comfortable."
