Williams has pinpointed the start of the race as its main weakness and is aiming to improve in that area to avoid a repeat of the German Grand Prix this weekend at the Hungaroring.

Williams qualified eighth and ninth at Hockenheim, but due to poor getaways from the grid both cars finished outside the points. As a result, technical director Sam Michael said the team would specifically focus on its starts ahead of the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix

"We obviously have to make some improvements to our starts set-up, so we've been busy analysing and working on that since Germany," he said. "During Friday's practice sessions, we will also be testing some new aero parts which we were unable to test in Germany because of the bad weather. The slow, traction-limiting corners of Budapest should suit the FW32 so we're going there expecting a decent performance."

Rubens Barrichello is targeting a finish at the front of the midfield after losing out to Renault, Mercedes and one of the Saubers in Germany.

"We'll be looking to carry our present momentum on to Hungary," he said. "It is not as if we had a bad race last weekend - it is just that the rhythm and pace of everyone is pretty similar, but we ended up in a bad position on the track after the start. I am confident the speed is still with us, we will just need to work hard in Budapest to make sure we are at the front of the pack we are in."

Nico Hulkenberg said qualifying would be the key to a good weekend for him.

"We have seen that we are pretty competitive in qualifying amongst the group of teams we are fighting against - Renault, Mercedes and Sauber. Hungary puts a major emphasis on qualifying well, so I hope we can do a good job on Saturday and get ahead of this group as it will set us up well for the race on Sunday."
