Rubens Barrichello still hopes to return to Formula One despite embarking on a new stage of his career driving in IndyCar in the USA.

After a record-setting 19 consecutive seasons on the grid, Barrichello lost his Williams race seat for 2012 and was forced to look elsewhere to continue in motorsports. He has now taken part in four races in IndyCar, but says his ultimate aim is to return to F1.

"I'm enjoying it," Barrichello told O Estado de S.Paulo newspaper. "I have been welcomed and the feeling is a much more open one. But the fact that I keep active and am competing is, for me, still a way to be seen and to attract the eye of Formula One.
