Christian Horner has again moved to defend his team against fresh allegations surrounding the legality of its car's front wing.
The team secured another dominant 1-2 in Suzuka but certain footage and photography emerged showing the front wings of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber's cars almost touching the track.
Although the RB6 has passed the latest increased load tests, a reporter from German tabloid Bild ventured into the FIA test garages at Suzuka to observe FIA Formula One Technical Delegate Joe Bauer checking the RB6 with 100 kilograms of weight applied to the front wing. The car passed the test.
"At the end of the day two people equivalent to the size of Ross [Brawn] stand on each side of the front wing to pass the test - and the cars passes," said Horner. "It complies with the regulations and our technical guys should only take it as a compliment because, at the end of the day, the car fully complies. And it is down to what you do on the track and not what you say in the press."
