Lewis Hamilton says he would put money on Sebastian Vettel winning the remaining four races of the season after his recent run of five consecutive victories.

Vettel is almost guaranteed his fourth world title as he heads into the final four races with a 90-point lead in the drivers' championship, but is also eyeing two other achievements before the end of the season. He has the potential to match Alberto Ascari's record of nine consecutive victories over the 1952 and 1953 seasons as well as Michael Schumacher's record of 13 wins in a season.

Red Bull's dominance has been clear to see at recent races and Hamilton believes Vettel is likely to continue his spree of victories until the end of the year.

'If he doesn't have any reliability issues, most likely," he was quoted by British newspapers. "He's just walking it."

He added that his chances of another victory this year are now slim: "We have stopped developing the [2013] car and Red Bull are a long way ahead. It is not going to happen, but we can get some solid points and I think we can get back on the podium. I think we can recover second in the constructors' championship [Mercedes trail Ferrari by 10 points]."
