Webber unhappy over di Resta incident
- Japanese Grand Prix
Towards the end of FP2 Webber was seen to gesticulate wildly at di Resta as he overtook the Force India coming out of the hairpin. While the incident had not seemed too severe in isolation, Webber explained that he'd already been warned that di Resta had been causing Red Bull trouble during the session.
"Twice with Sebastian [Vettel] and once with me," Webber said. "The engineers are not talking to him when he comes out of the pits, and then he cruises on the line and then lets you go halfway through the lap. I don't know if it is the team or the engineer not talking to him, but they can do better than that for sure."
With Webber seeking another victory before the end of his Formula One career, he said he'd need a completely clean weekend to be able to challenge for the win.
"I like driving here, so does Seb! We have some quick guys - Lewis [Hamilton] is strong around here as well. You need a clean run tomorrow and then get the strategy right on Sunday with just a seamless grand prix. I am sure there will be a very, very good result there if we get it all together."
