Ferrari has followed Red Bull's lead in removing the F-duct from its car following Friday's free practice sessions.

The Maranello team experimented with both the conventional rear wing and the new F-duct on Felipe Massa's car and decided the conventional layout was better suited to the tight and twisty confines on the Hungaroring.

"The F-duct always has advantages and disadvantages and we don't have a clear answer right now about what is best for here," commented Fernando Alonso on Friday.

Elsewhere, Force India decided against running its new blown diffuser for the remainder of the race weekend after testing the device on Friday.

"We are just not quite sure," Sutil is quoted by Auto Motor und Sport. "In practice you are doing maybe 10 or 15 laps at a time, but in the race the parts have to survive for 70."

Despite the decision not to run the device, Sutil remains positive about the its future potential as his team looks to get back on track following a run of disappointing results.

"You do notice the difference (of the blown diffuser), especially with the different engine mappings."
