Vettel plays down advantage

Sebastian Vettel does not think that the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend will turn into a Red Bull procession despite the team's apparent dominance during Friday's free practice session.
Vettel and team-mate Mark Webber dominated the opening session, Vettel finishing over a second faster than third placed Vitaly Petrov. But the afternoon times were closer, with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso splitting the Red Bulls with the second quickest time.
"I think this morning didn't really give a clear picture of each team's pace, but this afternoon it was tighter," said Vettel. "The Ferraris seem very quick again here, on both the long and short runs. They will be quick again tomorrow and we also shouldn't forget the McLarens; they have proven many times this year that they can make a step forward from Friday to Saturday. It's a difficult track here, quite bumpy and rough, but the car feels good."
Although Red Bull's new flexi-wing looks to have given the team a significant advantage on the high downforce Hungaroring, Vettel insists it will still be close fight between the top three teams.
"It will be between us and the rest of the field - especially the McLaren and Ferraris. It is not just one or two, to be on pole you need to beat more than one or two guys on a grid."
Team-mate Mark Webber also played down Red Bull's dominance, singling out Ferrari as a particular threat.
"That was pretty good - we got through everything we wanted. The car ran faultlessly and the guys did a good job. The track keeps getting quicker and we learned quite a bit today. The Ferraris look quick again, so we've got to keep an eye on them - you never know what fuel loads people are running on Friday. I'm looking forward to tomorrow."
