  • August 3, 1975: Carlos Reutemann won a German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring which was notable for the high attrition rate - only nine of the 24 starters finished - caused by a succession of punctures resulting from a failure to sweep flints and stones from the track

  • Fittipaldi emerges victorious from the rain
  • July 19, 1975: Emerson Fittipaldi, who had led the championship in the early stages of the season, reminded Niki Lauda he was not about to relinquish his title without a fight with a gutsy victory at a sodden British Grand Prix which ended in chaos

  • Lauda holds off Hunt at Paul Ricard
  • July 6, 1975: After James Hunt's win at Zandvoort, Niki Lauda returned to winning ways at the French Grand Prix, holding off late challenges from Hunt and Jochen Mass to extend his lead in the championship to 22 points

  • June 22, 1975: James Hunt and his underfunded Hesketh team cocked a snoop at the establishment with a remarkable win at the Dutch Grand Prix, ending a string of three victories by the Ferrari of Niki Lauda

  • Back-to-back wins give Lauda title lead
  • May 25, 1975: Niki Lauda made it two wins in two with victory at the Belgian Grand Prix at Zolder, moving two points ahead of Emerson Fittipaldi in the drivers' championship
