Media asked to leave Grenoble hospital by Corinna Schumacher
Michael Schumacher's wife Corinna has asked the media to leave the hospital where he is being treated.
Schumacher has spent nine nights in a coma at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire in Grenoble following a skiing accident, with a large media presence having been in place since his arrival. However, following a statement from the hospital on Monday which said "we do not plan any press conferences nor give out written press releases, anymore for the time being", Corinna Schumacher has requested the media allow his treatment to continue in private.
"Please support us in our common fight with Michael," she said in a statement. "It is important to me that you relieve the physicians and the hospital so that they can work in peace - that you trust ask their statements and leave the clinic. Please leave our family alone."
