The pit lane exit has been revised at the Korean International Circuit ahead of this weekend's race at Yeongam.

Although the track is a Hermann Tilke design which only opened in 2010, the pit lane has consistently been criticised for a dangerous entry on the inside of the fast final corner and an impractical exit which originally fed the cars back out on to the racing line at Turn 1.

As a compromise solution, the pit lane exit has been extended so that it now runs through the run-off area around the outside of Turn 1 and rejoins on the exit of Turn 2. The new layout will result in a longer pit-stop delta time.
