Ferrari has rubbished reports that Kimi Raikkonen could be set to return to the team in 2014.

Raikkonen has been one of the favourites for the vacancy at Red Bull next season when Mark Webber retires from Formula One, but following the Hungarian Grand Prix Fernando Alonso was also linked with that seat. Despite the Alonso rumours - which arose following a meeting between Alonso' manager and Christian Horner - it is looking increasingly likely there will be a seat available at Ferrari next season as Felipe Massa was told to improve his results if he wants a new contract.

With Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat claiming that Raikkonen has chosen to rejoin Ferrari - where he won the 2007 drivers' championship - a spokesman for the team says it is not focusing on its driver line-up for next season yet.

"Right now, we're really not giving any thought to the driver-market situation," a Ferrari spokesman told the BBC.

The spokesman added that Alonso's title challenge was currently Ferrari's focus.

"That is our priority. Drivers are not a problem for us even if we were to change Felipe."
