Profile
Gerry Ashmore raced in three GP in 1961 but only finished once, 12th in that year's German race. He took part in the 1962 Italian GP but failed to qualify. In the same race a year earlier he had been involved in a crash which left him hospitalised with head injuries. His best performance came in the non-championship 1961 Naples GP when he took pole and finished second.
