Profile
Ian Burgess, an office manager for the Cooper Car Company, took part in 20 grand prix for a variety of teams, managing only two top-ten finishes with a best of sixth at the 1959 German GP. He raced regularly through the 1950s, winning a 500cc race at the Nürburgring in 1951, and also took part in a number of non-championship F1 races.
