Jesús Ricardo Iglesias was best known for racing long distance events with some success in his home country of Argentina. In 1955 he was invited to drive for the Gordini works team at a grand prix in Buenos Aires but retired with transmission failure. He never got another drive in F1 and returned to endurance racing in his Chevrolet Special.
