Profile

Jean-Christophe flew in Formula Ford, then showed great pace in French Formula Three and consequently won the Formula 3000 title in 1994 for the DAMS team. He matched the pace of Damon Hill and David Coulthard as Williams' test driver, but was given a chance to race at Sauber when Karl Wendlinger was dropped before Monaco in 1995. Occasionally quick and often erratic, he was soon dropped and has since raced sports cars with success.
